Beasts of the Abyss

In stories, Earthmen who traveled to other worlds enjoyed fame and fortune, but when fate tore James Caliban from his life on Earth and landed him in the decadent Sol Empire, he ended up a fugitive and a mercenary instead. However, when his path intersects with that of a stunning Venusian heiress and an apocalyptic Martian cult, Caliban is drawn into a dangerous game of cat and mouse the stakes of which are no less than the fate of Empire itself!
